Karlyle Adams
Born in Philadelphia, PA and growing up in Camden County, Karlyle has been playing soccer for over 20 years. He began playing soccer at the age of four in a Collingswood, NJ recreational league. His experience continued, playing several seasons with Cherry Hill United, the West End Green Lightning State Cup team and the Delran Avengers (2 time State Cup Champions). Chosen for the varsity team as a Freshman, Karlyle enjoyed a very successful Paul VI High School soccer career as two time captain. While still in high school, Karlyle represented the USA as an “A squad member on the American Ambassadors’ 1997 European tour, including training and assessment at Bob Higgins Soccer Academy in Southampton, England. After high school, Karlyle continued his soccer career playing for the Medford Strikers Men’s Team.
While continuing to play ‘the beautiful game’, Karlyle began combining his knowledge of the sport with his natural ability to connect with children of all ages; and so he began training and coaching teams in the South Jersey area. In 2001, Karlyle trained the U12 Voorhees Vipers and continued with this team into their high school years. He coached/trained the Medford Strikers Heat for three seasons (U9-U11). In 2004, Karlyle began coaching the current U15 Medford Striker Starz. Within recent years, he was recruited to play amateur soccer for the Sewell Soccer Club in South Jersey and for Penn Charter of the Philadelphia Cricket League. In 2005, Karlyle was sought out to train and assist Carl Heil in coaching the competitive Kingsway Regional High School boy's soccer program.
As a trainer, Karlyle is realizing his goal of developing ‘complete’ soccer players. He brings a dedication and complete commitment to raising the quality of players in the game of soccer.
